Cirulin is the first free Android app dedicated to translating from Italian into Tabarchino, developed by BittaLab for the Municipality of Carloforte. A small digital tool created to preserve a great linguistic heritage: the Tabarchino dialect, the living language and identity of the island of San Pietro, Calasetta and Nuova Tabarca.
With a simple and intuitive interface, Cirulin allows you to translate words and phrases, discover local expressions and approach the language of the Tabarchina community in a playful way. It is a gesture of innovation and memory: a way to bring together technology and tradition, past and present, young and old, residents and visitors.
