A choral work that intertwines the personal and collective memories of the fishermen and fisherwomen of the Sulcis archipelago: voices that recount lives shaped by the sea, by resilience and by knowledge that is in danger of disappearing.
Cristina Burnengo, a fisherwoman from Carloforte and the protagonist of the film, will be present, along with director Lorenzo Sibiriu (Iglesias, 1981), an independent filmmaker and documentary maker. His research combines audiovisual languages and participatory practices, exploring the themes of memory, marginal territories and social transformations. His works have been presented at international festivals in Italy and Europe.
