What: Artistic Residency
The Giudicesse project, now in its third edition, reflects on gender inequalities inspired by the “judicial queens” of Sardinia and aims to explore the territory together with local communities through participatory and audiovisual storytelling practices.
The Giacinta artistic collective, made up of three multidisciplinary artists, is conducting a residency in Carloforte from 28 September to 10 October, involving the women of the island in creating a collective narrative that highlights their daily lives and their connection to the sea.
The women will be co-authors of a story that intertwines past and present, using natural materials and shared memories. The residency will close with a public event on 10 October.
The project is promoted by CSC Carbonia of the Società Umanitaria, produced by U-BOOT Lab, with the patronage of the Municipality of Carloforte and in collaboration with Ottovolante Sulcis.
