What: International festival dedicated to the typical dish (cous cous) of an island with deep Tabarken roots.
Three days of events highlighting Carloforte’s food and wine potential, starting with its main dish, the “Cascà” (cous cous), as it is called here, but which can be found throughout the Mediterranean. With this in mind, the organisers are inviting chefs from all the countries in which cous cous is eaten, from Sicily to the Maghreb, from Morocco to Tunisia and, of course, Sardinia, to the island of San Pietro. Workshops and cultural exchanges, experiential food and wine events, and exhibitions of utensils and products related to this excellence.
The aroma of cous cous, during these days, permeates the air of the entire town and gives value to a product that brings together and unites different people.
