The Municipal Library “Edmondo de Amicis”, located in the premises of the old civic market, plays an important role in the promotion of cultural initiatives of the town, paying special attention to the protection and diffusion of local traditions and language. The services offered are those of any modern library, and allow for easy and convenient use: from the loan of books included in a vast catalogue, to Internet access, to inter-library loans (connecting the Carlofortina site to the Sulcis Interurban Library System).
The youngest readers are welcomed in a cheerful and colourful space, which combines reading with playful activities.
